Construction Industry Council (CIC) has proudly announced the appointment of Ian Brant as its new Deputy Chair, effective immediately. The decision was made official during a recent Council meeting on February 29, 2024. Ian Brant, a respected figure in the construction domain and the Director at Brant Construction Quantum Experts, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Ian Brant is poised to step into the position of Chair pending Council approval following the conclusion of Dr. Wei Yang’s two-year term in June 2025. Dr. Wei Yang, the current Chair, will transition to the role of Immediate Past Chair for the subsequent year in accordance with CIC’s regulations.

Expressing his gratitude, Ian Brant remarked, “I am deeply honored to have been elected as the new Deputy Chair for the Construction Industry Council.
